Rakesh Parwal's PeopleSoft Admin Blog: PsCIA - PeopleCode & File Pre-Processors

About PeopleCode & File Pre-Processors:

The PeopleCode pre-processor must be run to generate the database tables that Change Impact Analysis reads and analyzes.

The PeopleCode pre-processor generates these two tables:
    • PSCIAPCXREF
    • PSCIAPCXREFTIME

The File Pre-processor generates the following database tables that Change Impact Analysis reads to perform analysis.
    • PSFILEPROCESSRUN
    • PSSQLXREFDEFN
    • PSSQLXREFITEM
    • PSFILESQLXREFDEFN
    • PSFILEXREFDEFN

  3. Ashok, not very sure about your question. I believe you would want to know if the environment(both app designer and database) that you use is whether demo or development instances. you can do a select * from psdbowner or V$database and find out the details. In general, demo environments have the "DMO" as part of the database name. hope this helps..
