    About PeopleCode & File Pre-Processors:

    The PeopleCode pre-processor must be run to generate the database tables that Change Impact Analysis reads and analyzes.

    The PeopleCode pre-processor generates these two tables:
        • PSCIAPCXREF
        • PSCIAPCXREFTIME

    The File Pre-processor generates the following database tables that Change Impact Analysis reads to perform analysis.
        • PSFILEPROCESSRUN
        • PSSQLXREFDEFN
        • PSSQLXREFITEM
        • PSFILESQLXREFDEFN
        • PSFILEXREFDEFN

    2. how do we know which database type(demo or system)is installed

    3. Ashok, not very sure about your question. I believe you would want to know if the environment(both app designer and database) that you use is whether demo or development instances. you can do a select * from psdbowner or V$database and find out the details. In general, demo environments have the "DMO" as part of the database name. hope this helps..
